Albert Howard - Recital, Part 3 (The Finale!)

The Voice

Why the Voice is so Much Better this Season

There are so many reasons The Voice is a lot better this season. For starters, Christina Aguilera left. That's good because she was rude to the contestants. Also, I don't even know why she was a judge in the first place because she's a dreadful singer. The only song I like that she's in is Feel This Moment by Pitbull because she didn't sound like she was choking on a cat. Also, the show is so much more enjoyable this season because Usher and Shakira are judges. They actually know about singing unlike (cough, cough, Christina, cough, cough). Thirdly, the judges can steal contestants which makes the game so much more intense. Finally, the singers this year are AMAZING  this season. I'm rooting for Danielle Bradbery she is so good. The only thing I don't like about this season is that Cee Lo Green is gone he was also a good judge. In conclusion, that is why The Voice is so much better this season.

Hunger Games vs. Divergent

The Hunger Games and Divergent are two popular books and trilogies. Although the third Divergent book hasn't come out yet I know a lot of people loved the first two books. I have read the Hunger Games trilogy and am on the second book in the Divergent trilogy (Insurgent). I personally can't decide for myself yet I would need to finish both trilogies. but so far I'm stumped! The Hunger games trilogy has lots of twists and turns. On the other hand there are some predictable parts. The Divergent trilogy is also like that, but it takes a while to get into and the author goes by important things quickly and non-important things slowly. However the Hunger Games books also take a while to get into. Also, I'm not as much of a fan of Mockingjay as I am with the first two books. Mockingjay never gets into the story but does have a great ending of the trilogy. Although there are pros and cons both have great premises. That's why I was wondering what you all were thinking. Finally, Catching Fire the movie comes out November 22, and Divergent comes out February 11, 2014. Try and convince me for your side. Let me know your thoughts.

This is not an advertisement.

Rather, it is an invitation: an invitation to the All City Music concert at 7:00 tonight. There are three performances in the concert: the All City Chorus, the All City Orchestra, and the All City Band (which I'm in). The band is performing Night on Bald Mountain, by Modest Mussorgsky (which is infuriatingly catchy); Arioso, by Bach; and the theme song to "Hawaii Five-O" (also infuriatingly catchy). Being in band, I don't remember the full playlists of the chorus and orchestra. However, I do remember that the chorus is singing a selection of songs from Les Miserables, and an awesome Russian song (the "Tetris" song with words, as most gamers would know). I also remember that the orchestra is playing the main theme from Star Wars. The concert is at 7:00 PM tonight at the Rindge and Latin High School. It's pretty much guaranteed to be an awesome night.
I'm ready to rock out.
